Vrsac is located 85 km from Belgrade. It lies in the Vrsacki breg valley and it is only 14 km far from Romanian border. Vrsac has a very favorable geo-strategic location.

The town lies on international road Belgrade – Timisoara. The road border crossing Vatin is just a few kilometers far from the town, while railway border crossing is in the town, at the Railway station. The international railway route Vienna – Budapest – Belgrade – Bucuresti goes through Vrsac.

Road network in the Municipality of Vrsac consists of 61 km long major roads, 18 km long regional roads and 89 km long local roads. About 100 km makes roads in the town. Generally speaking, the state of the road network is satisfactory.

A significant financial amount from the budget of The Municipality of Vrsac for year 2005 is planned for construction of the new roads and reconstruction of the present ones. The construction of new entrances into Vrsac, a good traffic network with the Technology Park and other industrial zones in the Municipality as well as good infrastructure are the factors that can attract both partners from the country and abroad.
