Vrsac is a town famous for well developed industry, especially pharmaceutical, wine and beer industry, confectionary and textile industry. The leader of Vrsac’s industry is Hemopharn group but it is the leader in the country too. Over the past ten years it is present also in China and Russia and other countries that Hemopharm group has its representative offices. Hemopharm group is the first that initiated foundation of the Technology Park in Vrsac. In the wine and beer industry the leaders are Vrsacki vinogradi AD and Vrsacka pivara. Vrsacki vinogradi with its brands “Banatski Rizling” become famous throughout the country and Vrsacka pivara’s most popular brand Zoffmann has won numerous awards at the international competitions.

Vrsac is famous also for two significant factories in confectionary industry: Swisslion-Takovo and AD Banat. Products from these two factories are popular throughout the country. Textile industry in Vrsac is presented by two factories: DP Uca and Kluz.
