ZANNINI EAST

Zannini, factory for production of pharmaceutical packaging material, is a joint venture established by Hemofarm Group from Vršac and Company Grafica Zannini S.p.A. from Pisa, Italy, both leaders in their respective markets and in their fields of activities.

Zannini is situated in the entrepreneurial area and represents the first project within the Technological Park in Vršac. A facility of 2,180 m2 manufacturing area has been constructed on the surface of 8,500 m2.

Total of EUR 3.1 million has been invested in the new factory. Hemofarm Group has financed the building, while Grafica Zannini invested in the equipment, technology and intellectual property. The Italian Government Finance Institution, Simest, is the investment partner of Zannini with 7 percent capital share.

The factory, erected in compliance with the contemporary standards within only six months, accommodates a high technology production line with activities carried out in three stages. Since the achievement of a top product quality level is the core requirement for both Hemofarm Group and Zannini Group, their joint venture has also adopted all corresponding industry standards. Production in Zannini Vršac is carried out in compliance with the standards ISO 9002, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.

In the course of this initial period print artworks are prepared in the specialised department of Zannini Group, which is capable of accepting customer requirements in both traditional and computerised formats. Efficient, high quality equipment with various output devices makes possible print preparation for flexography, serigraphy, offset and roto-offset, typography, flat plate and rotary printing presses.

Manufacture of primary cartons for pharmaceutical industry is carried out on up-to-date five-colour and six-colour printing presses Roland 700. Particular attention is paid to the colour tone, which is achieved through precise calibration. Thus batches manufactured at any time have absolutely the same colour.

The next stage of the manufacturing process of the packaging for pharmaceutical industry is cutting on Bobst SP102E machines, under optical and electronic control.

There follows the process of folding and gluing using the latest generation of Bobst machines.

All production stages are highly automated.
For the period to come Zannini is planning to produce self-adhesive labels, leaflets and aluminium foil for blister-packs.

Founding HiTeam is a logical follow-up of the project HemoNet, which started 1999 when Internet services became available to business and common users in Internet Café and Internet Providing. Realization of this project was led by department for computer and communicational systems in Hemofarm’s center for IT, which 2003 become HiTeam. HiTeam has continued to offer services, providing and expansion of Internet Café’s services.

HiTeam pays attention to education of its employees and Microsoft certificate that HiTeam engineers were awarded to proves that. Besides that HiTeam offers the highest standards of education for people employed in Hemofarm concern and elsewhere as well.
